Unlimited minutes on weekdays

Just wondering what the hours are for unlimited minutes on weekdays! I got the smart plan for $55 recently, I know it's from 5pm, but I'm not sure when it ends.

I have the $80 max pulse plan & I tried to activate spotify (on LTE) on fidohub.ca but I only get the ''Get Spotify App'' option and it doesn't take me to the spotify authentication page to link my fido account with spotify. Please help.

WiFi Calling - Long distance Prefix - Frustration

Ok, so I have WiFi Calling functioning on my Iphone 6. Works great in poor cellular coverage areas.

However, it constantly tells my I have to add a '1' in front of the number I am calling.

The frustration is 2 fold. On calls received on my phone and trying to call back the person, because the number captured does not have a '1' in front of it, and secondly when from my phonebook the entry has a '1' recorded with the phone number. Some tweaking by Fido required

Hi, 

I was just wondering if my perpaid phone balance is at $0.00 and my phone is inactive, will I still recieve text messages from others? If not, do those texts get sent to me after I do fill it up again? Thank you

As I write I am on call with An agent - Maria for last  40 Minutes. On hold for almost 35 Minutes during this period.

 

Supervisor refuses to come on call.

 

They just dont know what they are talking.

Worst website ever. Looks like a 10 year old designed it. Trying to find out how to do something as simple as printing your monthly bill. I called the support line and after 45 mins they told me they had no one their that could support the website????????

Fido Statements: 8 days' wait has become 13 days

Am I the only one? Or is everyone else receiving their Fido statements after long delays? My billing cycle's on the 15th and my statements were being issued on the 23rd (for 8 or 9 years), a usefully short period allowing me to feel in touch with my Fido activity. Now, it's become the 28th (they feel like ancient history after such a long delay). :-( And I'm not seeing Fido Chat offered anymore (maybe I'm just not looking in the right place(s)?).

I use this a lot on my PC (it's free to send outgoing texts there) as my phone's a bit dated so outgoing texts are very awkward and slow to manage (& my plan's limited to 50 texts/month). BUT, lately it's not been working for a lot of other people's cellphone numbers. So, I end up just using my phone anyway and texting people with "email" (meaning, check your email for a message). Is this a common experience with others' now? (If I could find Fido Chat, I'd report the issue, but that seems to have become elusive). Has anyone a free and reliable alternate way of texting from their PC?

Fido dollars pay off balance then renew contract

I have about 90 dollars balance remaining on my contact and about 80 Fido dollars to use. I see some good promotions right now on new Fido phone/plan (via Black Friday deals). I was wondering if it is possible to use my Fido dollars to pay off my remaining balance and then immediately start a new contract again with Fido.

My husband who is also with Fido, would like to transfer my account to his, so we can have a shared plan. (I am hoping that makes sense).

My contract ends in April 2016.

I just want to know if we are able to do this before my contract ends as I will be renewing under his account anyway.

Network issues?

Anyone else having issues with the network?  My mom's phone has not been able to receive texts or phone calls and neither has mine.  I restarted my phone and it seems ok now, and my mom did the same, but I would still like to know if there was a glitch last night and this AM.

unlock phone with fido dollars

Is there a way to unlock my phone with fido dollars? I did some research and found I can move my monthly service to pre-paid service and use Fido Dollars to get refill voucher to fill up the account. Can I still do that now?

 

I'm thinking of moving to Mobilicity since it's using rogers network. I can get more date with cheaper price.

MMS Not working

Hi All,

 

Over the Weekend I noticed none of my MMS are being retrieved or sent out. I checked my APN settings and all is good to what I've seen posted for proper APN Settings.

 

I have an Unlocked Int'l LG G3 with an LTE Fido Sim.

 

Not sure whats happening here.

Any Help would be greatly appriciated.

Over Billing on Usage Minutes

I recently signed up for two cell phone plans with Fido. It is the Bring Your Own Phone ($33) plan with 250 Weekday minutes and 300MB of data.

Though my usage has remained pretty consistent, Fido billed me excessively in my August and September 2015 bills for going over my allocated 250 minutes (Aug, 2015: $134.51; Sep, 2015: $169.13; Other Months: $70-80).

After getting the bills (and paying them off), I called Fido customer service to request details for the 250 minutes to verify if I did actually go over my allocated minutes. The first call was on Sep 08, 2015 to Kevelyna, and then again on Oct 3 or Oct 4, 2015 to Matt. On both of these occasions, I spoke to the Customer Service Representatives who promised that I would receive detailed bill reprints with 5-10 business days. When I received nothing, I called Fido again on October 31, 2015 and got my call escalated to the Supervisor, Tracey. The supervisor promised that I will receive the detailed bill reprints in 5 business days and she would call me to follow up on it as well. To this date, I have not received neither a phone call nor the detailed bill reprints.

To further escalate my issue, I used the online form from the Fido website on Friday, November 13, 2015 to contact the Management Team/Office of the President at Fido. Again, despite their website promising a response within 1 Business day, I have received nothing yet.

Apart from the issues stated above, I noticed that my bills have been pretty consistent after I signed up for detailed online bills. This further adds to my belief that Fido may have deliberately over-billed my account for August and September, 2015 and is now ignoring my requests for a detailed bill reprints.

One more note: I did not at anytime receive any notifications from Fido that I was going over my 250 minutes usage limits.
