Is it just me or has Fido stopped caring for their loyal customers and stopped giving out the awesome plans they once used to? I called today in hopes of switching over to the new $45 promo with 1GB data usage but I was told it is only for new customers or if I purchased a phone. I refused due to the lack of selection of phones and asked if they could just honor this promotion with the use of my current BYOD plan. The rep said I couldn't and instead tries to sell me the same plan for $55/month.
What is going on here? Are you telling me I should just leave and sign up with a different company just so I can get this current deal? Is it really worth losing a long time customer over $10?
