My current contract ends in 4 days and just happenes to land during these sales. I called fido support to see what is available and noticed the plan i was after is available at koodo for $59 and a samsung s5 for $100. The same plan and phone at fido is $64.
The CSR could only match for the first 6 months, and then the price would go up after that for the remainder of the contract. I told her the math doesn't add up and she insisted this is all she could do.
Shouldn't fido match this when people call in? The whole point to retain your sales is to keep customers happy. The bigger problem is If i do switch I will get non stop phone calls from fido trying to convince you to come back.
